Woah. Okay I didn't know blogger changed their layout. Somehow I'm able to upload pictures on blogger again! So bye Flickr!

Been wanting to blog for the longest time but I've been super busy with dance, and work! (Yeah I know right, what's new) When I've free time I'd rather sleep than blog.

But nevermind, What's important is that I'm blogging now!

For the longest time I've wanted to change my blog template also! Maybe to something simpler. My main grouse is that that pictures are too small and I can't upload bigass pics. and I no longer look like what is shown on my banner. reallllly feel like changing my blog template but i'm too busy to code one on my own + my blog is pretty dead + just plain lazy. Either that or I'm gonna start redirecting to Tumblr and blog on tumblr instead. I'll just do reblogs if that happens and I'll bore myself even before I start to bore whoever's reading.

But for now I'll just be using blogger to write wordy posts and tumblr for reblogging and more casual stuff.

I went to SHINee World Concert Singapore on 10th Sep!!! Was super excited to meet my favourite idols not only up close, but for 2-3 hours!!!!! Took quite a lot of photos but I'll just upload a few of my best shots. :D

Didn't really celebrate this year as I was in the midst of rehearsals and submissions.

And also I wanna thank Jolene and gang for the present!
And dearestest Jiaqiwoo and Hayleystitch for their present! They gave me a CK perfume hahaha. but i don't really use perfume. Cause I usually don't stink.

I guess I'll be using perfume more often now? :P

Lots to say but. hmm. don't really know how to put in into words but neither do I have the time to do it. Damn lazy to edit + upload photos also. And Flickr's HTML embed system is not helping.

I lost my voice a few days back but I recovered it back!

And I've red hair now! Like really red! but okay photos soon. or maybe some of you have seen it already. but yeah, duh, what's new.
I found a job at H&M! gonna be going for job training tomorrow!
Just performed a sing and dance item at NUS RAG! My voice cracked though. (show yall the video soon!)
Lots of cool shows coming up!

AND I've a competition coming up on the 28th at Frontier CC at 1pm. come down and support.

Hmmm. what else.
I may have submitted my assignments but I still have more to submit and that means... school is not over yet! :(

Kinda surprised I'm writing here as well. Needed a place to just blast my thoughts out. hahaha.

and i've been rejecting lots of blogger events/adverts too. hahaha my blog is like dead. but then again i feel that being a popular blogger is so passe now. okay maybe not but I think I've grown out of the phase? like I'm more interested in singing and dancing now? WAIT. CORRECTION. I have ALWAYS been interested in performing. Blogging was just a add-on.

N.E.mation! - An annual animation competition for students now open for registration!

Remember the time when I went to this stop-motion workshop with Jiaqi?

Yeap, NEmation is back with it's 6th year! I remember last year I went behind the scenes to have a look at how they produce their clips! And then I realised i never had time to blog them and I just kept them as a draft! So here you go!

Put them together with the videos! :D

This one is the winning entry! :D and also my favourite!! They really put in a lof of effort for this!

I'd encourage everyone to join! You don't have to worry about knowing animation techniques or what, you just got to have a great idea and you're set to go.

SHINE Youth Festival!

Was at the SHINE Youth Festival launch event last week!

We arrived a bit late but we didn't miss out much!

The organisers talking to us about this year's SHINE youth festival!

This year's festival will be held on the 2nd July at SCAPE!

And this year's theme is... “Enough Talk, Just Do”
Which I myself can't agree more because I adopt the same attitude :P

Representatives from Mascot Parade, O School, Singapore Street Festival, the Singapore Management University and *SCAPE, sharing their activities planned for this year's SHINE youth festival!

And I'm really hyped that O School is organising The Big Groove and the PR for SHINE youth festival is giving me and Jiaqi tickets to watch the showcase!!!! It's sad that I'll be missing out on the masterclasses this year though! :/

Up next we have performances by.... JuzB!

Spread the A capella love!!! :D They'll also be having a beatbox/acapella workshop on 2nd July at the SHINE youth festival!!

I think they are called the Roses? not very sure but they can sing and dance and I really respect that!! Been singing and dancing recently and it's really not an easy task :/

And up next we have cosplayers! I only know Masked Rider and Terry Bogard from King Of Fighters though. Not into cosplay, sorry! LOL!

Lastly we have local magician Kiki Tay! Who is kinda eccentric!

And on 2nd July... we will be treated to a star-studded show featuring Derrick Hoh, Tay Kewei, JuzB and Jack and Rai!
O School will also provide an exclusive peek into the groovy moves at Asia’s most awaited hip-hop convention -The Big Groove 2011.

The Eastern Restaurant!

Was invited as a partner with Jiaqi to Eastern Restaurant's food tasting event a few weeks back!

It's actually the first time I attended a food tasting blogger event actually! and so we got to try some of their best dishes!

Dumpling with vinegar and also ladys fingers! Not exactly my type of food but I guess if you love sour food / vinegar, you'd like it!

Their Xiao Long Bao is one of their signature dishes. I don't know about you guys, but I love my Xiao Long Baos when their skin isn't too sticky! as in, it wont stick to the bottom! There are times when I tried to eat my XLB when the skin tore and all the soup spilled out :( and everybody knows that the soup is like the most awesome thing in XLB! And I love Eastern Restaurant's XLB becuase I love the skin!

Pardon me, I don't know the exact name of this dish but it's like some stemed egg, where you have to mix it together with soya saunce and it will become something like...

THIS! there's prawns inside if you see carefully! and this dish is one of the few that almost everyone wanted a second serving. ;)

Baos baos and more baos! This one is called Sha Liu Bao! Flowing custard bun!

Cant really remember this also, but I remember they have prawn inside and this dish is interesting cause it's served on a spoon! I wonder why..

Salted Veggies with Bacon! I only ate the bacon though...

What's chinese food without our traditional fried rice!

And also sweet and sour pork! Classic!!

And here is a photo of the boss of Eastern Restaurant! We managed to have a short chat with him! And he's actually quite nice and down to earth, asking us for feedbacks and suggestions that could help improve his business!

My journey as a dancer....

My main purpose of this post is just to document my learning journey as a dancer.... from my first lesson.
I hope one day I can be able to look back at these videos and see how much I have improved and how far I have come.. (or how well/badly I've done in the past)

So it's actually more for a personal reason than blogging, but I just might as well share it!
I'm learning dance now at Celine Jessandra School of Performing Arts, in case you want to know.

Sentosa Megazip!

Was at Sentosa last week to try out Megazip @Megazip adventure park!!

Just a short walk from imbiah station!

First thing we tried was ClimbMax! They have like, 3 levels so I daringly attempted level 3! Which is the highest and the most difficult! And I'm actually proud to say, it's pretty easy for me! EXCEPT FOR ONE, where I struggled quite a bit.

Heal the World.

Received news this afternoon that Tokyo was struck by an earthquake measuring 8.9 on the richter scale. Me and Liyana were like refreshing the news every 5 minutes.

I gotta admit it, the thought that flash through my mind was actually "Eh, omg, 2NE1 is in TOKYO! ARE THEY ALRIGHT?!" imagine next time no more 2NE1. i think i'll be devastasted.

Not that i never care about the rest of the japanese civilians, but that's just my first thought that struck me. I really sincerely hope that the people in Tokyo are safe from harm, i mean, they're not my family or my friend or whoever but as a fellow human being I can empathize with them and I can feel their grief.

And natural disasters are really unpredictable. Furthermore it's like, Tokyo is an urban jungle, WHERE CAN YOU RUN?!!! You go anywhere also got building collapse on you. When I saw the videos on the news it really felt like the end of the world. Even the boats are swept up onto the road... it's painful to watch.

Anyway. my main point is..

Life is too unpredictable. So live each day like it's your last. I'm really lucky and blessed to be able to live in Singapore, really. Safety within the country. Although sometimes the system sucks but at least our geographical location is good.

Pray everyday for good health and safety, and not just when there is a natural disaster or pandemic, or any other life threatening situation.

I want to make the world a better place.

I hope there isn't much more damage... especially to the neighbouring countries!

Mother Nature, please be kind to all of us. I will treat you well. I will not smoke. I will not throw things into the sea. I will not burn plastic. I will not chop off your trees. I will not set your trees on fire. Please have mercy on us and let us all off.

I might have just found a topic for my fyp. heh.

Walking With DINOSAURS! rawwrrrrrr~

Went to the Walking with Dinosaurs Show last year! LOL

The set was pretty awesome! And the giant dino teeth! :D

And this guy, he's the narrator aka tour guide! He's like the only "Human" to appear in the whole show! I wonder how much he gets paid. it seems like an easy job!

AND HERE COMES THE DINOSAURS!!

It's super realistic, and they even have dino eggs that crack open and the dino baby inside CAN MOVE!!! WTF!!!

Oh oh oh, and then they have these rock thingy, which can sprout out plants! You'll see later!

2nd segment of the show, there was this dinosaur carcass lying in the middle of the stage! and then suddenly got 3 dinosaurs come and feed on it!

And this time it's like WAH the flowers are even nicer now!!!! It's like alice in wonderland!

This one isnt triceratops, but actually Torosaurus! *wiggle eyebrow* I clever right? HAHAHAHA.

Two of them fighting. And I was stunned when one of the horns actually broke!!! It's like how do they do it?!!!!!!

HAHA this one is interesting, he's touching the dinosaur poo. LOL

Ankylosaur! I think he's the most heavily armoured dinosaur of all! And he's got a deadly tail!

TYRANNOSAURUS REX!!!!

Did you see the baby T-REX!!!!! It's super cute and provided some sort of comic relief for the audience! hahaha! Like when the T-REX roars, it imitates it in it's own small voice! I dunno how to say la! For those who have watched the show, you should know what I'm talking about!

He's super loud and scary and he's HUGE! I know it's like a robot but omg even for a robot it's scary!

The finale, which is the meteor strike. It's nothing much. Dissapointing.

Really i owe this blog so many things. it's like argh. i don't want it to be a burden also. but i'm really ah..... aiyooooo. Not enough time to finish.

I haven't even started on my schoolwork yet! and it's actually due on 4th of Jan. that's like 1 week. Seriously DIE ALREADY.

I think I will be staying home all day to do my work + blog tmr.

and recent happenings, been to the best mambo night of my life! 2nd last mambo of the year. it was pretty crowded. hahaha. oh ya. and I went to Delon's birthday party and it was super duper fun!!!!! Took Polaroids. shall scan and upload them soon! :3

I met someone that I like also. hhhhaahah but right now it's still a small crush. we shall see in the coming months. not gonna reveal the identity though. been smsing each other for say.... a few hours now. interesting. but I dunno la. hehehehehehehe. I'm a shy boy and I wanna progress slowly.

oh YA, and I went to the LG filming today all shagged!!!!! I swear if the video turns out ugly I won't post it up! But actually no choice also cause you all also will see it if you follow the other bloggers. it will be all over twitter oh my ffffing god. please pray I will look good. cause I got eye infection. cheeee ken.

JYP Auditions!

Hayleystitch on my right, Jiaqiwoo on my left! Both of them got in but I didn't :( hahahaha!

I was super nervous. I remember my number was 0845. Hahaha, and the sisters were telling me, "Alton you join before so many competitions, will nervous meh?"

But honestly speaking ah, it was heart-pounding. It's been a long time since my heart pounded that hard/fast. I can literally hear it go thump thump thump!

So here's how it goes, we are supposed to go in in groups of 10 and sing 1 by 1. When we heard the previous batch of 10 sing we were like "oh... okay.... they can't really sing... no offence but thats the truth..." and when it was our turn and the first person sang, we were like STUNNED lor! Turns out our batch of 10, ALL CAN SING PRETTY WELL.

But there was this girl who did modelling, dunno what she doing, walk here walk there, don't even look like catwalk or what, face so glum somemore. but whatever, I shall keep these negative stuff to myself.

Hello everyone! Welcome to this little humble blog of mine!

Basic stuff about me

Yes, the name is Alton, and I grow one year older every 3rd of August! (Ah, presents? hint hint!)

I live in this tiny little red dot called Singapore. I have a complete family of 1 x Mom and 1 x Dad and 1 x Annoying little brother. I am not cool because I am lame and that's what makes me so cool :)

I'm kidding. I'm not cool at all. I'm down-to-earth and friendly! I believe in loving my enemies.

Here’s a sneak peek into what I do for a living.

I’m currently a student in Singapore studying for my diploma in Creative Media Design!

My favorite color is Red and I have a love-hate relationship with the color blue and green.

I am obsessed over Korean Pop and I would pay (almost) any amount of money to catch some of my favourite K-Pop bands live on stage.

Other than blogging, I love to sing and I occasionally do song covers on Youtube.

I might appear "dao" and unfriendly and fierce sometimes but I'm really a funny and nice guy once you get to know me!

About my blog title.

My blog is aptly titled, “Alton’s Blog”. Why? Because it is MY BLOG. not yours, nor your dad’s, nor your mom’s. I can't think of any other cool sounding URLs like smellofshit.bs.com or ileadacoollife.bs.com. altonkeh.bs.com is already taken up by me, but it's a little too late to change it now huh? So till the day someone suggests a cool url name or till the day I am no longer called by this name, my blog will stay put at www.altonsblog.blogspot.com. :)

The story behind my blog and regarding content/language.

I have been blogging since I was 13, having evolved from the "twit generation". In my early days of blogging, I blogged about my typical secondary school life which no one is probably interested to read about. It went a bit like "Todae iie went tuu schoolzxz, and ....etc etc." It's so long ago that I can't recall it now. My twit language skillz iz ruzty nowz. But frankly speaking, there isn't much change in my writing style, aside from the twit words (whichz I don'tz understandz whye must we do thatz last timez). So as I matured from a schoolboy to a tertiary student, I grew out of that twit phase; and the language I used and content I blogged about matured together with me. (although now it's still pretty immature)

Now I am able to write full, proper, mostly grammatically correct sentences. :)

It will be so failz and ironic if I made any grammar mistake here. But don't get me wrong, I don't speak Queen's English neither do I type full perfect sentences all the time. Being a Singaporean, I LOVE SINGLISH. I mean, it would be so sad if people are unable express themselves in singlish, or if people are banned from using it! It's like, siao!!!! Don't know how to describe lor!!!!!

Tackling vulgarities and racism.

Then there is the issue about vulgarities. I am not against vulgarities, but it depends on the context of the usage. Nobody wants to read a blog that is full of F-bombs, but neither would anyone read a blog that doesn't have any! (okay la maybe some, just some) but my point is....MODERATION.

When you are using it to entertain : Yes.

When you are using it unnecessarily like acting cool: No.

As for racism, I tend to avoid anything that has got to do with race (or religion for that matter) as it's a rather sensitive issue BUT one thing I cannot tolerate is that whenever I mention INDIANS, the word racist would pop up. It's almost as if they are coupled together with each other. It is NOT WRONG to say that the indian man is smelly. It is WRONG, however, to say that indians, in general, are smelly. Get my drift? If you substitute the word "indian" with the word "chinese", you'll get what I mean. And there will be no such racist nonsense on this blog of mine, don't argue with me.

Regarding Haters.

My blog isn't so popular so I don't have that many haters but at this point of time, I'm already pretty numb to people verbally insulting me, I'm *almost* insultproof. But that doesn't mean I don't have a weak side. I just don't want to tell you all what is my weakness. *funny face* Why should I?! I love myself the way I am and I don't have to change for anyone out there who dislikes me (for whatever reason).

Got my pair of $78 tickets thanks to Citibank Singapore! :D But it's a pity Jiaqi isn't there cause she had to attend to her JYP post-audition stuff! (someone gonna be famous soon) LOL

The queue to buy the $88 dollar tickets and the queue to get in was CRAZY! I swear!!! Many people couldn't get tickets and were disappointed!

Went to Nanyang Polytechnic a few weeks back to attend a Stop-Motion workshop by NEMATION!

Our trainers from Animagine! Nice people, all of them!

We were given all these materials to start with!

And here we are, listening attentively!

It's the first time in my life I am celebrating halloween and I'm superrrr excited!
Went to buy my costume last minute, but thank god I can still find what I want!

I initially wanted to be a kitty cat, cause I've like sort of kitty cat paws at home, but in the end I couldn't find the cat ears that I wanted! OH WELLS~
Chanced upon this shop which is selling this devil wig for $10 bucks, and it was the last piece left, so I thought, heck I'm gonna be a devil this year!

Even better, cause it can go with most of my clothes which are red in colour! Which is my favourite colour, btw.

On that day itself: Preparing make-up and all!

See that tube of red facepaint over there? I wanted to paint my face and neck area totally red one lor!!! But due to time constraints andalso don't want to let the twins paisey on the streets, I decided to just go with simple eyeliner! I know it's bleh but it's the best I could do!

Bought these bunny ears and devil horns for them! but in the end they exchanged roles wtf.

I'm a LG Ambassador! - The Optimus One Review.

Hello! It's been a long time since I updated my blog but here I am again! haha!

A few weeks ago, LG invited me to a briefing for this LG's Life's Good Ambassador challenge and they actually gave me a LG Optimus One (just what I needed!) to use!

In exchange, I would have to blog about my Life's Good moments as a challenge, and the winner would stand to win $2000 blog sponsorship and a LG netbook and more!

The story thus far.

20 ambassadors from have been chosen to take part in this contest, and they would each have to come up with 7 blog entries about how LG makes their life good!

Okay, so here goes.

Presenting to you, the LG Optimus One! :D

It has 4 buttons.... 3.0 megapixel camera, 1500mAh battery, touch screen blah blah blah.

BORING! zzzzz.

Instead of telling you all the technical stuff, I'll make it painless and simpler for you (and myself) and I'll just talk about what I like about the phone, and what I dislike about the phone. :D

Anyways I'm not a tech blogger so heck the technical specs!

What I like about the Optimus One.

The notification area!

All the android phones have this function which is the notifications area, and it basically tells you all the notifications that you have on your phone, like for example, new emails, new smses, new tweets and facebook updates even! and at the top there are 5 buttons for you to toggle your Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G, and Sound!

Super useful to me and I would never use an android phone if it doesn't have this function. It would be damn cumbersome la, imagine you have to go to the settings and do all those settings or whatnot.

The material of the cover.

Now this is something I definitely wasn't expecting! The material of the phone cover is actually scratch proof! Okay, I'm not really sure about that but I have been using the phone for a few weeks now and I'm quite "chor lor" (ehh how to say, singlish for rough?) with my gadgets and within a few weeks they manage to accumulate scratches quite easily.

I'm surprised that my phone now is scratch free!

It's so different from the previous LG models I feel, because the previous ones that emphasize on style and target the fashionistas mostly have glossy covers!

Improved grip too! Definitely a plus point.

Youtube!!!

They have the option for you to play it in HQ!!! I'm not sure whether this is available in other phones running other operating systems but this is the first time I have seen this! Am I slow? :( Because from what I know, the iPhone doesn't have this option and your videos will be blur and low-res when you watch youtube on 3G. :(

Social Media.

This one no need to say right. Everyone knows I'm a social media freak! Especially twitter!

Wi-Fi tethering!

Honestly speaking, I havent really tried this out yet, but I think it's quite awesome when you have a laptop with you, and you don't have any wireless hotspots around you, and you are desperate for a connection, this will definitely come in handy.

Contacts.

The contacts can be synced together with facebook such that the contact picture of your contact, will be the primary photo of the friend in facebook! (am I making sense?)

and with just the click of a button, you get all these options to email, twitter, sms and call the contact! got status updates some more! cool or what! and all these information is taken from facebook!

Google search.

With the push of a single search button, you can google for whatever information you want instantly! you can even search the android market and the contacts in your phone. As i always like to say, google is my teacher, if no one can answer my questions, google can!

What I don't like. :(

The only thing I don't like about the Optimus One is the camera. I mean, the rest of the functions are all so awesome! The phone would be near perfect with at least a 5 megapixel camera and a led flash! and throw in a front camera to go with that!But still, if you just want to use the phone camera for occasional camwhoring and twitpics, then i suppose it's okay.

Okay and the battery runs out pretty fast as well, but I guess it depends on your usage. I use my phone ALL THE TIME, so I don't expect my battery to last anyways. hahaha!

there's still a lot of functions that I wanna share with you, but I guess I'll save them for the subsequent posts! this is only the tip of the iceberg! ;)

If you are a frequent reader of my blog.. you would know that i am a crazy fan of kpop, and I am always going for all these concerts and events..
There are always tons and tons and tons of people at all these events... and usually during admission it will be super crowded and there will be a longggggg line of queue.

Okay now, so back to kpop night. As I was saying, they are coming to Singapore on the 23rd and 4th Sep was supposed to be the official day of the sales of the tickets for the concert, which is supposed to be scheduled at 9.30am at HMV Somerset 313.

Oh kay..... so my initial plan was to go at 6plus in the morning so i can be one of those "early" few. well thank god i didn't, because........

SUDDENLY. due to certain "un-official queues" starting at 313, Proof Label (Which is also the organizer) and @HMV_SG posted up a note saying that the queue would officially start at 12mn 4th of Sep.

OKAY. WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT. You tell me that any "so called official queue" will not be recognized prior to 9.30 am on Saturday. NOW, 6 HOURS LATER, YOU TELL ME THE QUEUE WILL START AT 12MN. DUE TO UNCONTROLLABLE SITUATIONS?!

"our landlord has worked with us and the organisers to create a proper queue system outside the shopping mall. "
You mean before that HMV and Prooflabel had no plans for a proper queue?! Why plan so late?

They are giving in to the situation! like wtf?! You maintain that you will not recognise any queues formed prior to 9:30am so what the fuck is this?

FYI, the fans have already been queueing up ORDERLY since afternoon. And now you release this note and tell them to disperse??

And yeah, this is what you get after they disperse. A sea of fans scattered around rather than queueing orderly.

And what happened to the people who went to 313 the next morning? Whatever happened to "there is no need to rush." You will join the tail end of this morning's queue"?!

For your information, the people who came early at 9.30am or even earlier, like, 6am, DID NOT GET QUEUE NUMBERS. Their hopes of getting cat 1 and 2 tickets were dashed.

IT'S JUST PLAIN UNFAIR.

I had to head down to somerset 3 times.

10pm-

I arrived at 313 knowing that the queue will start at 12mn. And there was a huge crowd of people outisde somerset 313, all of them wondering where the queue will start.

3am-

After much confusion and chaos and pushing here and there and squeezing, I got my queue number of 1526, still thinking that the queue-ing was a "random lucky draw thing" and was instructed to go home, so I took the nightrider home.

7am-

Went to 313 again, while waiting for the news of the queue numbers to be released. Because I seriously had no idea how the procedure was like. We were only instructed to stay tuned to FB.

10am-

Lost hope (sigh!), after I found out that the queue is in sequence. (WTF.) And I refused to buy the tickets at ridiculous jacked up prices.And so I headed home again.

1pm-

LAST SPARK OF HOPE: Nicholas called me to say he had a friend who was selling a queue number of 754 for 60 bucks. And I headed down to 313 yet again.

5pm-

The queue went on pretty smoothly but it was damn slooooowwwww. I kept logging on to facebook (until my cellphone ran out of juice) to check the availability of the tickets! Was so scared that by the time it reached my turn, the tickets would be sold out!! But thank god no. Finally bought 10 Cat1 tickets. Want to faint already because I havent ate anything from 10pm to 5pm. Crazy or what right!

AND.
I almost couldn't buy the Cat1 tickets lor!!!!!
Because I didn't know NETS had a spending limit of $2000 dollars! And 10 x $258 = $2580!!!!!!
Where the hell was I gonna get the $580 bucks from! Thank god (really thank god) that the stranger who was queueing in front of me had visa and agreed to use Visa to pay for me while I transfer her the money later.

It's really a chaotic event lor! It's even up on the front page of the new paper recently!!
I know I know, I already got my tickets so why am I complaining!

BECAUSE. I am still unhappy at the way they managed the whole event. And I know that it's too late for them to do anything now, because the tickets have all been sold out.

Well. the next best thing for them to do now is...

They should have done this earlier!!!!!

Usually when I go to all these concerts/showcase/events, ticketing has never been a problem. It has always been mostly SISTIC ticketing (at least for all the concerts that I've gone too.)

Top 10 fondest memories of YOG.

Finally, it's all over!
and it was fun while it lasted! I'm so honoured to be able to witness this event! It's a once in a lifetime thing, you know!
And yes, I am really really proud when I tell myself that I have been part of the first Youth Olympic Games!
Be it media, volunteer, athlete, or even spectator, I believe that everyone had a small part to play in making the games a success!
and so all I wanna say is...
GOOD JOB SINGAPORE!!
Through these two weeks of the games, I have had countless memories, here are my Top 10 fondest memories of the Inaugural Youth Olympic Games!

Torch Relay!

My first ever time witnessing the sacred olympic flame! I felt so honoured! It's the actual flame from olympia!!!
And when the athletes were passing it around I was so worried that the flame might extinguish, or the athlete might trip or what!

Yeap, so that's how concerned I am about the Olympic Flame! haha.

I hope next time ~~(when I'm famous :X HAHAHAHA)~~ I can have the chance to be one of the torch bearers! It looks fun!
But I doubt I'll ever have that chance. Realy lucky athletes. Reallllly.

Opening Ceremony!

Yeap, one of my fondest memories was the YOG opening ceremony, where the performers occupied almost the whole stage! I was so amazed and I thought the floating stadium would sink! -___-
There is a big mix of nationalities in the audience, there are koreans, japanese, english, chinese, sri lankans, africans, so on and so forth! It's quite awesome if you think about it, it's like the world gather together just for this games! The world unites!

The Official Theme Song - Everyone!

I very seriously will miss this song playing on the TV.

The first time I listened to it, I didn't quite like it. But eventually, it grew on me and I was humming the song everywhere I went! Now that the games are over, I don't think we will ever hear the song again on our television sets or the radio anymore!

This was one of the pre-YOG events that I attended, which had 2010 youths to form a Human Torch at 2o:10!

I watched both matches and it was spectacular! They will become our country's future athletes, so their faces are most definitely stored in my memory! Gonna keep a lookout for them in the next YOG! or Olympics (that is if they are above 18).

I feel proud for them when they were awarded the medal! Felt proud for my country!

The Youth Olympic Flame

Like I said just now, a chance to witness the Olympic flame is so rare! and I actually saw it twice! on two seperate occasions! haha!

What stayed constant in my memory was the flaming vortex of fire, which kept turning like a tornado. I was really fascinated into how it works and I actually went to Youtube to google and check it out! Hahaha, power of science!

VISA + Ezlink!

It's the first time i've seen this kind of card! and it's all because of... YOG!
I get to shop online now, and when my ezlink runs out of money, I always have a backup in my bag!
And the most shiok part is.... there are free bus/mrt rides for the day of the Opening and Closing ceremony!
Thanks, DBS and Visa, for making my life so cashless!

4MINUTE + B2ST!

OMGOMGOMGOMG. WHEN I TALK ABOUT THEM I SPASM, UNCONTROLLABLY!

They made my dream to see them "live" come true! I really have to thank Samsung for this chance!
Yeap, like I said before, I am realllly lucky to have the chance to see 4minute and B2ST and a few other kpop acts!

Praying for them to come again!! The last time was too short!
